Subject: Protest, Jun 12, 2022, 1pm.

Dear PM Lee Hsien Loong,

I am writing to inform PM Lee of my protest outside the US Embassy on Jun 12, 2022 at 1pm.

The purpose of this protest is to stand by my espionage claim against CIA agent David Roach. Please check the attached protest signs for details.

Two more matters

As explained in the attached file, I believe that New Zealander Eugene Gerrard Buckley and Chinese citizen Deng Xuesong have also involved in the espionage activities targeting me. I would request the New Zealand Government and the Chinese Government to look into my espionage claim.

It seems to me that Singapore Intelligence has got involved in an abuse of power case that happened in the National University of Singapore (NUS) to protect the reputation of the NUS. In Feb, 2011, I have already contacted FEBS Letters journal and received their response to my complaint about the quality of a research paper.

I would appreciated if the editorial officer can forward the email correspondence between me and FEBS Letters to me because it was deleted from my gamil account (hhiniumok@gmail.com) by Singapore Intelligence.

My request

In my email dated May 26, 2022, I claimed David Roach espionage scandal and requested the PM to respond to it before the coming General Election (GE). In my email dated Jun 6, I claimed that Boris Johnson no-confidence vote was a conspiracy and the start date of the coming GE was Jun 13, 2022.

I would request the PM Lee to publicly respond to my espionage claim against Canadian inmate David Roach before the GE. If PM Lee wouldn’t do so, a referendum on the legitimacy of the PAP Government should be held.

Thank you.

Regards,

Yan Jun

Dear Prof. Hew:

I would like to express my interest in your projects on Large DNA Viruses. My background is in molecular biology, especially on membrane-to-nuclear signaling transduction. I am able to work immediately if admitted.

After the completion of MSc. in NUS, I joined IMCB-Glaxo and work under Dr. Thomas Leung as a RA  to work on cytoskelton. The training I received in Glaxo lab has made me command most of routine research skills for a research lab. The 3 years (2006-2009) work in gene expression lab on histone transcription in Biopolis strengthened particularly my skills in molecular biology. Now I am able to perform independently routine experiments in molecular and cell biology. Please see my CV for details.

I have read methods part of two of the publications (Chen LM et al., J Gen Virol, 2008; Wang F et al., J Gen Virol, 2008). I have no problems with techniques such as PCR, Western blotting, flow cytometry, transfection and the use of microscopes. However, I haven’t worked with virus before but, fortunately, I am keen to learn.

Besides research background, people skills are equally important for team work. I have come to learn more of people skills while working in both IMCB and NUS.  Prof. Soong Tuck Wah from Dept. Physiology would be happy to give a few words on my people skills and academic performance as well.

I am wondering if I can send reference letters later after the informal meeting.  The contact information of referee is listed below.

Thank you very much for your attention and patience to read this letter.

Regards,

Yan Jun

Dear officers,

I have a question about a research article published in FEBS Lett last year. I have a concern about the conclusion of this report.

This small paper is roughly composed of two parts. In the first part, the author proposed a hypothesis based on a finding. In the second part, they proved this hypothesis correct. However, the data for this finding went so wrong that one is able to point out the problems without even repeating the experiment. All my colleagues agree with me.

Is it possible for me send our questions to FEBS Lett directly for an explanation? Can you give us some advice on solving controversy like this?

Thank you very much for your attention. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.
